Communications

A short post - by now you should have received our first mass email letter which we are doing to communicate better and reduce the costs associated with printing and mailing snail mail.  If you didn't, that means we don't have your email, you've changed your email, or we simply made us a mistake.  Let us know and we'll get that fixed right away!  Kudos again to Ann who figured this out also.  We were not successful making mass email updates from Mozambique and hope this new service we are using will work better for us.

In addition, we still think snail mail updates are important and we plan to still do a couple a year.  You will be receiving that update in the mail very soon.  An electronic copy is now posted on the link on the left side of the page under "newsletters".  Just click on the link and look for the "Summer 2011" file.  You'll need Adobe acrobat reader to read it.

Christmas Newsletter

By now, all of those on our mailing list should have received our Christmas letter. Just in case, we have also posted it in our 'newsletter' folder on goggle documents. You can access the newsletter by clicking the "newsletters" link to the left. It is in Adobe Acrobat format so you will need the free Adobe Acrobat reader to read it. To reduce the file size, we did some compression of format, so the clarity may not be as sharp as the copy you received in the mail.

If you are not on our mailing list and want to be, just drop us an email.

New Link - Newsletter

By now people on our mailing list should have received our summer newsletter. If not, it is available now through the link on the left (Newsletters!). It's a rather large file because of the photos and you will need Adobe to read it!

You can also simply 'click' on the title above.

If you have slow internet speeds (like us!), I wouldn't click but wait for your snail mail copy!

We are up to our eyeballs in preparing to come home for furlough. We are less than a month away and can't imagine how this is going to happen!

Spring Newsletter

Today we returned from our trip north. There is much to report but I need to get the photos off the computer first! We came back very encouraged at our church multiplication work in northern Mozambique. Stay tuned in the coming few days! On one of the days, my dear wife said at the end of that long day that she thought it had been the most wonderful day of her life.

I just uploaded our Spring newsletter. Most of you should have received a snail-mail copy by now - but if not - click on the link to the left that says "newsletter" and you can access the letter from Google Docs.

New Link - Newsletters

We added a new link to the left of this page adding our most recent newsletters to our blog. This isn't for the weak of heart! If you have slow Internet speeds, wait for your snail mail copy! If your internet speed is blazing, then you can download our newsletters.

Our fall letter was just issued by OMS so it should be arriving in your mailbox soon.

Our Christmas letter is in the approval process and should be out in December.
